Client
A medium-size, global biotech company with established treatments in respiratory therapies wanted to conduct a virtual medical conference to maintain contact with their key opinion leaders and specialist medical audience during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Challenge
The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the demand for virtual medical meetings and events, ad this is proving to be a persistent need. However, webcast fatigue is a challenge. Small to medium-sized biotech companies recognize the value of virtual medical engagement, but they need support in both the planning and successful execution of these events. Indeed, they can also often benefit from a more comprehensive online medical engagement strategy rather than the conventional one-off medical conference approach, whether in-person or virtual.
InnoStrat has extensive experience building online medical engagement and running virtual events including KOL advisory committee meetings, medical conferences, and clinical trial staff meetings to build a sense of community with and among a client’s key stakeholders.
In this case, we were initially asked to plan and execute a digital medical conference. However, the client accepted our offer extend the meeting with a more robust online medical engagement community, to provide additional touchpoints with their key stakeholders.
